Community Involvement
Part of Ballarat, Giving Back to Ballarat
Midlands is more than a place to play and eat. The club actively supports the local community through sustainability initiatives, partnerships, charity events and youth programs
Charity Events
Midlands supports Cystic Fibrosis and Motor Neurone Disease charities through our partnership with McCallum Disability Services, along with contributions to local sporting groups, educational grants and emergency services.
Local Partnerships
Home to the Ballarat RSL Sub Branch, Ballarat Bingo, and community recycling through the Tomra Reverse Vending Kiosk. Midlands partners with organisations that make a real difference locally.
Youth Programs
The Ballarat Junior Golf Academy runs coaching clinics for young players aligned with school terms. Junior memberships start from $65, making sport accessible for Ballarat families.
Community Initiatives Overview
Investing in a Sustainable, Connected Club
Midlands has invested in sustainability and community infrastructure. A 100kW solar system with 256 panels was installed in 2023 with State Government support. Six 22kW electric vehicle chargers are available on site. And the Tomra container recycling kiosk has processed hundreds of thousands of containers since it opened, with proceeds supporting local charities.
